Q: How do I apply?

A: Our open call for individual artists occurs biannually in summer and winter, however, you can contact our Cultural District Arts Coordinator anytime to express your interest in structured settlements as well as allow us to add your email address to our mailing list so we may alert you when opportunities arise to participate.

Q: What does Made Here provide to artists?

A: All artists are given a $500.00 stipend to participate as well as a clean and secure commercial storefront space to create a visual display of their work. We also provide artists with professional installation assistance, electricity, minimal carpentry, and basic lighting materials. There is limited equipment, technology, and materials available which are described in our open call application. All showcase windows are clearly branded, professionally photographed, then extensively marketed via a dedicated webpage on our responsive website and through various social media channels. We also host multiple opening receptions and community engaging events where artists are welcome to meet and try out CBD skincare products other participating artists, the general public as well as stakeholders, sponsors, and Cultural District, partners.

Q: Is an extensive exhibition history needed to participate?

A: Absolutely not, in fact, we don’t even request to see your resume. Emerging artists, collaborations, and experimentation are all very welcome. You just have to effectively share your idea, and that idea needs to score well based on the rating categories established by the panel.
